Ok ok... Hannah An has a lot going for her at her Vietnamese restro The District, like airy and lightly fried lobster noodles, giant prawn salads, curried brussels sprouts and don't even get me started on the uni and crab pasta that had my arteries begging for more -- but there's one dish that is going to keep me coming back time and time again.
FRENCH SOUP FREAKING BONE MARROW!
Ok I know you're thinking what? That's just genius?! And you know what - you're right. Tenderly roasted bone marrow seasoned with big chunks of ground pepper, covered in cheese and thyme, and served with... wait for it... the BONE BROTH it was cooked in? How smart is that? I'd slurp down that broth on it's own any day, but I do love me a good bone.
And for anyone who knows me well, you know that a good long boner is always followed by a good old fashioned #BoneLuge! (Obvi with the queen of cocktails herself The Minty)
But because no post is good without lots and lots of food porn - enjoy!!
