I've been in love with the wines of Santa Ynez valley for quite some time. Can't live without my Fess Parker and I've literally fallen in love over wines at E11even - but at this point we always have the same routine, the same tasting rooms, the same wines. So I thought it was time to try something new.

Enter Carhartt vineyard. I've seen their bottles before and was always pleasantly enthralled with their cute labels. Plus they have an adorable red house that's hard to miss right on the main stretch of downtown Los Olivos. But after watching their hilariously quirky "how it's made" video - I knew we had to visit!

Their wines are solid. Very bold reds that feel like they'll age well. Crisp whites that were refreshing on the warm spring day. But what really sold us... what made me know I'll be back time and time again? The most adorable little patio decked out with wine barrel furniture that I could easily sit in and relax at all day long.

Plus they're pup friendly so immediate win!

Anyways, next time you're looking for some fun tastings, be sure to stop for a sip.
