After a super fun day visiting the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, I couldn't help but want to you know... chow down on tons of fresh seafood. Looking at all those tasty fish swimming around sure does work up an appetite. Luckily we stumbled across what has to easily be the BEST seafood happy hour I've ever been to!

I started my search with the best $1 oyster joints in Chicago... and eventually wound up at somewhere called Hubbard Inn, which doesn't just have $1 oysters, they also have $2 king crab legs, clams, shrimp, scallops & $3 shrimp cocktails!

My boyfriend's eyes almost bugged out of his head! He was 110% in so we worked our way over, ordered up about 3 dozen shellfish, a ton of fresh crab, scallops, and a huge side of butter. It was some serious seafood damage and easily a must-do for all future visits to Chi town.
