This Vineyard is Full of Sheep!!

I am terribly embarrassed to say that I don't actually know if the wine here is good or not... because we literally ONLY STOPPED FOR THE SHEEP!

Bad journalist.

But c'mon, look at them! They're so awesome! Now for those of you asking, the vines are dormant this time of year so it makes sense for the flock to graze the field, but I wonder - does the *ahem* sheep fertilizer impart any flavor into the terroir on the scene?

I guess if I was a better journalist I'd have gone inside, swilled a few glasses, and asked. But I was being a responsible DD.

Anyways - if you want to see sheep be sure to hit up Cline Cellars in Sonoma. The property was stunning, the tasting room looked lovely, and I'll be sure to hit it up on my next trip!

UPDATE: They sent me wine to sip!! I tried out their 2016 rosé and the 2016 pinot gris and both of them were extremely refreshing, easy to drink, and perfect for these hot summer LA days...

Not only that but upon doing further research I found out that they OFFER FREE TASTINGS at their room in Sonoma! What?! Wow. We really should have gone inside. Plus their wines are all very reasonably priced for a good Sonoma white so that's a pretty cool bonus. And apparently they have donkeys as well? How cool.
